You will be met upon your arrival in JRO, and transfer to Hotel in Moshi.
After breakfast, you'll commence your road trip to Mkomazi National Park via Moshi and Same. You'll arrive at the park in the afternoon and proceed with afternoon game drives in the park. These and northern circuit safari-goers are now most welcome to discover the treasures of this wedge of hilly semi-arid savannah - home of large herds of giraffe, eland, hartebeest, zebra, buffalo and elephant, Wild dogs & Black rhinos.
Every day, thousands of people pass within a few kilometers of Mkomazi on one of Tanzania's busiest highways. Today you'll spend a full day in the park for game drives and can also add walking activities in the park to experience this hilly semi-arid savannah and its wildlife up close.
Today after breakfast you will heading back towards Arusha, on the way you will stop in Moshi for hot lunch. You'll spend your night today in Arusha.
Today, after breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch; the park is renowned for its large elephant population. Enjoy game drives in the park searching for elephants, lions, leopards, and other wildlife that gather around the Tarangire River.
Today you'll spend a full day in Tarangire, enjoying game drives in the park. The park's diverse habitats support a wide variety of animals, from the massive elephant herds to the tree-climbing lions and elusive leopards.
After breakfast, we will continue into Ndutu and shift our focus to the great migration. Upon arrival you'll continue with game drives in Ndutu searching for the resident wildlife and the massive herds of wildebeest and zebra that characterize the migration.
You'll spend the next three days enjoying game drives near the great migration, exploring Lake Ndutu and its surrounding areas. This is prime time to witness predator-prey interactions as lions, cheetahs and other predators follow the massive herds.
After Ndutu, you'll cross into the Serengeti side and spend the next two days enjoying game drives in Southwest Serengeti, trying to catch the part of the migration that is resident in the area. The vast plains of the Serengeti offer unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities.
After breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro and descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drives in the Crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games. Have a game drive and then drive to overnight in Karatu.
Today after breakfast we will drive back to Arusha for hot lunch, later we will drop you at Kilimanjaro International Airport for flight back home, marking the end of your unforgettable Big Five safari adventure.
